These two Kearney, Missouri residents have dated for two and a half years and are so excited to make it official this Saturday at the farm. John and Deidre will be saying “I Do” in just a few days but it all started with a website called ‘Plenty of Fish’. After emailing, texting, and talking over the phone for about two months they decided to meet. Their first date included a motorcycle ride and dinner at Tanners in Liberty. However…the date ended in a “monsoonal rain storm” according to Deidre. Now, that’s a date to remember! Well guys, it looks like clear sky’s for your wedding day!!!
On December 26th, 2014, while John and Deidre were dancing in Deidre’s kitchen to Aerosmith’s ‘I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing’, John asked her to spend the rest of her life with him and she, of course, said YES!!! Deidre loves Johns thoughtfulness and love for her son and his kids. She said that he is, “consistent, caring, loving, and hard working.” What more could you ask for, right?! John’s favorite thing about Deidre is her commitment to the kids and how she always puts family first. He said, “she is completely herself no matter what the situation she is in.” What a great couple!
They will be stepping out onto the dance floor Saturday evening to Ed Sheeran ‘Thinking Out Loud’. It was chosen based on, “the lyrics and the promise of more than just love today or tomorrow but to love each other as we grow old together.” The reason they picked Fresh Air Farm and the reason they are looking forward to having their big day here is, “It defines our personalities and life. We are outside, outgoing, kid orientated parents who love camping, bonfires, and we are just a little bit country.” Well…I think we’ve got that covered!
John and Deidre’s happily ever after is, “The promise of tomorrow, the grins and giggles with our kids, and the memories we have yet to make with family and friends.” That’s like straight out of a movie!!! Cheers to John and Deidre!
